The first month of 2022 has passed in a flash! And what a month… Immediately after the Christmas holidays we went into high gear. The result is a fully loaded roadmap with many interesting developments on the way. In this newsletter we wanted to briefly inform you about the work that has already been done and about the exciting things to come.
Agnoplay for audio
Our promise to the market has always been that Agnoplay provides the “most scalable and flexible player solution for online video AND audio”. Our audio solution in particular has remained somewhat underexposed until now. And that’s going to change. Because the audio market in general, with podcasting and online radio in particular, is booming right now. And in desperate need of seamless audio players. Currently, Agnoplay for web has a perfect solution to support playback of audio files and podcasts. Our native SDKs for iOS and Android also offer a player for this. But we felt that these versions might need a major update. And that is exactly what we are currently developing. We can’t tell you more about this right now, but keep an eye on our upcoming releases. Monetize your podcasts
In preparation for the aforementioned update, we now also support audio ads served through Google Ad Manager. Therefore, Agnoplay is the perfect solution for any podcast publisher, who also wants to be able to monetize the published podcast episodes. Don’t hesitate to ask us for help with setting up your new revenue streams.
Native SDKs for iOS and Android
To show off our iOS and Android SDK, we’ve created a fully featured reference app. This app is now available in the app stores. It shows the flexibility of our solution. Not only as a web player, but also in any native iOS and Android app. Download the app for free and discover the possibilities:

Get your WordPress plugin
As already mentioned in our blog previously Agnoplay launched an Agnoplay for WordPress plugin in the middle of December last year. This makes Agnoplay accessible to any publisher using WordPress as a CMS. In just a few clicks you have a player on your website for VOD, audio or live streaming. New Agnoplay product site
Last but not least…. (drum roll)… we just relaunched our website with a completely new user interface. In fact it was about time. We felt like the shoemaker with holes in his own shoes. In this new website we’re providing all necessary information to anyone interested in using our solution. For new and existing customers. We’ve also made our Docs pages publicly available. This section gives you an overview of all our releases, implementation guidelines, feature overview and documentation, and so on. So feel free to take a look.
